Hole-in-one insurance coverage is one of the major Tournament Services offered by Golf-Holeinone. They are contests that have been highly successful in helping many Charities, Corporations, and Associations attract more golfers, raise more money and provide more fun. The following is a brief overview:
Hole-In-One Contest Insurance
Par 3 Hole-in-One Contest Insurance is available from $ 5,000 to $ 1,000,000 for cash or an automobile (lease or sale) prize for one or any number of individual holes. In most tournaments this will be for the primary contest hole. Auxiliary prizes on all other Par 3 holes are also covered by the same policy at no extra fee. In addition, there is no limit to the number of golfers that can win at each hole. The cost is based on the amount of the policy, the number of golfers and in some cases the distance from the tee to the hole.
Closest To The Pin
6 " Rider Insurance provides a $ 1,000 cash prize to the one golfer that is closest to the Pin, within 6 inches of the hole. This prize is awarded only if there is no Hole-in-One on that specific hole covered this additional policy.
Million Dollar Shoot-out
$ 1,000,000 Shoot Out Insurance provides an opportunity for one golfer to make a 165 yard Hole-In-One. This can be held at a Par 3 hole or as a fairway shot to any green. Usually the golfer given this opportunity has been chosen because of being closest to the pin at a specific hole during the tournament or been the winner of a raffle ticket. This contest is conducted as an additional fund raising event at the golf tournament.
On Course Charity
Billy’s Kids $ 1,000,000 Hole-in-One provides an opportunity to conduct a fun event for golfers at any time, at any course, as part of or as a stand-alone contest while helping to raise money for the Billy Casper Kid’s Non-Profit Youth Foundation. Golfer’s can voluntarily contribute $ 5 to attempt to make a 150 yd. Par 3 Hole-in-One. If they land on the green they win a sleeve of golf balls. If they land in the hole they win a set of name brand irons and $ 500 toward a trip to play in a national event for a $ 1,000,000.
Skills Challenge
$ 10,000 Skills Challenge Contests Insurance is available to cover Sand trap, Chipping and Fairway approach contests that may be conducted in addition to other events.
Putting Contests
Putting contests for Cash $ 5,000 to $ 25,000 can be held prior too or during the golf tournament as a "19 th" hole event. For Charity tournaments this is usually done as a fund raising event. This is a three-step contest, starting with a 20 ft. qualification putt, a 40 ft. play off and the one finalist being able to attempt to successfully sink a 50 ft. Putt.
